Making the switch can save you time, money and increase your security. Here are some of the most common questions we hear:
Is online banking safe?
Yes. It’s actually safer to do your banking online and get your statements electronically than having your banking information available on paper and sitting in your mailbox. You will get your e-statement faster, and you can help safeguard yourself against mailbox identity theft.
Don’t you need paper statements for tax purposes or to apply for loan?
We store your statements for 18 months in your online account. You have access to view or print these statements 24/7. Storing your files electronically will help decrease the paper trail with your banking information.
You will still want to keep all of your bank statements in case you need them; the only change is that you will store them electronically. A general recommendation is to keep your bank records for a period of 7 years, password-protect your confidential files and back up your files regularly.
If I don’t get a paper statement, how will I keep track of my account?
We’ve invested in technology so you can access your accounts how and when you need them, whether it’s by phone, computer, or in person. You’ll receive email alerts when your statement is ready and you can set up account alerts to text your balance. Another bonus with paperless statements is that they are available sooner than paper. Take back your free time by not having to file or shred all that paper!

How far back can in years will statements be availible? 1-3 or 4-5 years

You will have access to all of your statements online. We won’t delete them, ever.
The only caveat is that we began this policy back in early 2010. So, if you have accounts from before then, you can go as far back as Feb 2010.

Please be clear that you folks will be access online statements only for the 18 months. There is impossible to access statement older than 18 months. So, folks save on your PCs. Good luck everyone…Good way to go green!

We have extended our storage beyond just 18 months. If you have been a customer of ours for a while, we have statements dating back to July 2010 and we will no longer delete them from that date forward.
You do not need to worry anymore about the “18 month” rule. They are always there.
