Introducing our New Mobile Banking App
We have been listening to your tweets, posts and emails about wanting a mobile banking app, and are happy to report that the new Webster Bank mobile apps for Android, iPhone and Blackberry are now available for download! We’ve also updated our mobile banking web experience with an enhanced user interface.
How to Download our New App
You can download our new mobile banking app from the Android (Google Play), Blackberry and the iTunes stores by searching for Webster Bank or by clicking on the appropriate link, below, from your phone. If you are already a WebsterOnline customer, simply go to our Mobile Banking page from your mobile device to download the app.
Our App supports the following smart phone versions as of 12/12/12:
- Android 2.2+
- iPhone iOS 4.3.5+
- BlackBerry OS 6.0+
With one-touch access from your phone’s home screen you can quickly get balance information, transfer funds, pay bills and more. Here’s a glimpse of some of the most popular features available with our new app:

Move money between your Webster accounts while you’re on vacation or away from home.
Schedule bill payments to ensure that important items will be paid on time.
Find the Nearest Bank Locations
Search by address or use your phone’s GPS capability to find branches or ATM’s near your location.
Receive text messages when your balance reaches a certain level — high or low, and in some cases when deposits are posted or other transactions occur. Click here to learn more about our alerts. You can receive balance alerts via SMS/text to your mobile phone and/or via email. Message and data rates may apply.
Our mobile banking apps are valuable new tools for Webster customers and we’ll look to continually improve them. We’ve also got plans to offer mobile deposit capture in 2013, which will allow you to deposit checks using your phone’s camera.
